Amidst growing speculation, it was this morning confirmed global superstar SIA will descend on New Zealand and Australia later this year to play exclusive stadium performances in Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne.

Announcing her only live dates for 2017, Sia has revealed she will bring her spectacular NOSTALGIC FOR THE PRESENT TOUR to one show to Mt Smart Stadium on Tuesday, 5 December.

A multi-platinum artist, songwriter and international icon, Sia last toured Australia in 2011 to wide acclaim. Since then, she has shot to superstardom, becoming one of the most influential and prolific artists in the world. She has collaborated with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé and David Guetta; has penned songs for Rihanna, Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, Camila Cabello, and more, chalking up accolades including multiple Grammy Award nominations, and building a dedicated army of fans across the world, all the while maintaining an air of enigma and mystery that only adds to her allure.

The global pop sensation dazzled audiences with her unique live show at last year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, with TIME calling the performance “one of the festival’s best.”

“This year has featured some huge pop spectacles… but none as creatively captivating as what Sia is doing onstage... For an artist not prone to sprawling tours, Sia fully understands how to make the live experience feel vital.” – Billboard

Sia’s performances will feature hit songs from her chart-topping, Gold certified 2016 album, THIS IS ACTING, alongside iconic anthems from her previous releases; ‘Chandelier’, ‘Elastic Heart’, ’Clap Your Hands’ and more.

The most-streamed female artist on Spotify last year, Sia’s accolades continue to build; currently Gold in NZ, ‘Cheap Thrills’ peaked at #6 on the NZ Radioscope chart. Singles ‘Elastic Heart’ and ‘The Greatest’ were both top 10 radio hits in NZ, while 1000 FORMS OF FEAR, Sia’s 2014 studio album, has achieved Gold accreditation.

Don’t miss your chance to Sia live in New Zealand this December, thanks to MJR Presents.
