Hearts, minds and attendance records are set to be blown on the 3rd of February 2018 as Foo Fighters return to Mt Smart Stadium in support of their ninth studio album Concrete and Gold (out 15 September on Roswell Records/RCA Records through Sony Music Entertainment Australia and New Zealand). 

The 11-time Grammy-winning, 25+ million-record-selling stadium rock greats will welcome the new year with an epic tour that kicks off at Perth’s nib Stadium on Saturday 20 January, before touring Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, and wrapping up across the ditch at Mt Smart Stadium.

Foo Fighters will be joined at all shows by very special guests Weezer and Ayn Randy.

*IMPORTANT- Bags must not exceed 200mm x 300mm x 200mm.  Strict security measures including wanding, pat downs and full bag searches will be in place. Express lanes will be available for patrons not carrying bags. To avoid delays at the gate, please have bags open and ready for search or if not essential, leave bags at home.

Event Information

Parking
There are no general parking facilities onsite for concerts. We strongly encourage patrons to use the free travel on special event bus and train services to get to and from the concert. View public transport information here.

If public transport is not an option, parking is usually available for a fee at businesses surrounding the stadium. Please be aware that if you park on a street or in a business that is subject to a later road closure or parking restrictions you may be towed or delayed from exiting. Signage will be erected on the applicable streets and information on these restrictions will be available on our website closer to the event.

Mobility Parking
Onsite mobility parking is strictly available for patrons who hold a current mobility parking permit. 
To register for mobility parking please send your name and permit number to info@aucklandstadiums.co.nz  
Mobility access can be accessed from the O'Rorke Road entrance. Please present your mobility permit to traffic control staff for access - No permit, no entry.
Please be aware that exit from the carpark can be delayed for up to 1 hour following the end of the show to allow for safe pedestrian movement.
Due to limited capacity, mobility parking is strictly reserved for patrons who hold a valid permit.

Drop Off Point
Recommended drop off/pick up points are Rockfield Road and Church Street (west of Maurice Rd).

Coach Parking
Please email info@aucklandstadiums.co.nz if you require coach parking. Coach parking will be located on Hugo Johnston Drive. This parking is not available for motorhomes or campervans.

Campervan / Motorhome Parking
Campervan/motorhome parking is not available onsite. You can locate nearby camping sites at https://campable.com/

Where is my seat?
Your bay, row and seat number can be found on your ticket. Please only enter via the gate specified on your ticket.

I have East Lounge tickets – what does this entitle me to and do I have a seat?
If your ticket says EAST LOUNGE this means you have a seat outside in the East Stand and have access to the East Lounge. The East Lounge has a premium food offering and bathroom facilities. The lounge has floor to ceiling windows and tables for dining so you can also watch the show from inside if you wish.

Ticket Collection
Tickets can be collected from Gate B on the event day from 9.00am.

Gate Sales
Unless sold out prior, gate sales will be available from the Box Office at Gate B from 9.00am on event day.

Tickets purchased from Viagogo/Trade Me or Other On-seller
Ticketmaster is the official ticketing agent for this show. We cannot guarantee the authenticity or validity of tickets purchased from third-party sellers such as Viagogo or individuals selling on Trade Me.

Children/Babies
All patrons (including children and babies) must hold their own ticket.

Road Closures - 3 February 2018
The following road closures will be in place on the streets surrounding the stadium to allow for safe pedestrian movement. 

  • Beasley Ave – 5am until 1am the following morning
  • Rockridge Ave – 5pm to midnight
  • Maurice Rd - 4pm until 1am the following morning
  • O’Rorke Rd & Rockridge Ave - 4pm until 1am the following morning
  • Station Rd (Rockfield to Olive) – 4pm until 1am the following morning
  • Station Rd (Olive to Great South Rd) – 9pm until 1am the following morning
  • Olive Rd, Walls Rd, Bassant Ave & Botha Rd – 9pm until 1am the following morning
  • Fairfax Ave– 4pm until 1am the following morning
  • Hugo Johnson & Autumn Pl – 4pm until 1am the following morning

Parking Restrictions

  • Beasley Ave – Both sides from 4am until 1am the following morning
  • Rockridge Ave – Both sides from 4pm to midnight 
  • Maurice Rd – Both sides from 3pm until 1am the following morning
  • O’Rorke Rd & Rockridge Ave  – Both sides from 3pm until 1am the following morning
  • Station Rd - West side of Station Rd (Walls to O’Rorke) and the south side of Station Rd (Maurice to O’Rorke) from 3pm until 1am the following morning. Parking restrictions will also apply from 4am until 1am the following morning on the east side of Station Rd (O’Rorke to Walls Rd).
  • Olive Rd, Walls Rd, Bassant Ave & Botha Rd – No parking on both sides of Walls Rd from 3pm until 1am the following morning.
  • Fairfax Ave– Both sides from 3pm until 1am the following morning
  • Hugo Johnson & Autumn Pl– Both sides from 3pm until 1am the following morning.

Travel to and from the venue on special event bus and train services is included in your concert ticket. Please visit the Auckland Transport website for more information.
Please retain your ticket for the ride home.

Bag / Coat Check 
Unfortunately, we do not provide a bag or coat check for concerts. Please be aware that bags larger than 200mm x 300mm x 200mm are not permitted.

Weather
The concert will go ahead rain or shine. If rain is predicted, bring a poncho or raincoat as umbrellas are not permitted.

• Small personal cameras and camera phones are allowed. Professional cameras, or any camera with a lens larger than a standard watch face (or exceeding 4cm in diameter).will not be permitted.
• Empty plastic bottle without lid (up to 750ml) to use at the free water stations.
• Sealed bottle of water (up to 750ml) - please note lid will be discarded on entry.
• Disability assistance dogs.
• Banners, placards and flags no larger than 1m x 1m with sticks and poles detached before entering the stadium.
• Small quantities of home prepared food such as sandwiches, fruit and baking.

• Animals (excluding service dogs such as guide dogs and police or emergency service dogs)
• Any other items deemed by stadium management or the promoter to be illegal, dangerous or a nuisance to yourself or others


Please note that prohibited items will be confiscated and will not be returned. If in doubt, leave it at home. Stadium management and the promoter take no responsibility for confiscated items.
