We are a small team at Auckland Stadiums, and we rely on several external parties to help us deliver our events. For large concerts, we will transform from 40 staff to over 1,000 event staff. To get involved please fill out our volunteering form here.
We wouldn't be able to do what we do without our volunteers! And we are always looking for as many volunteers as possible. Volunteering can be a great way to get experience for your resume, and help your community out at the same time.
There are three options to choose from when it comes to volunteering with us:
The Green Team –
Help our patrons dispose of their concert waste. Auckland Stadiums currently diverts over 80% of concert waste from landfill, keeping our venues and local hapori (communities) clean. The Green Team are key in reducing the litter left behind after major sports events and concerts.
The Mobility Team –
Ensure that our mobility patrons have an enjoyable and safe experience. You will make sure that wheelchair access to the stadium runs smoothly, and if required, transport our mobility patrons using the mobility carts! The Mobility Team is one of the most crucial elements in maintaining our high standards for guest experience.
The Wayfinding Team –
Armed with maps and handy fact sheets, the Wayfinding team are the experts when it comes to helping patrons find where they need to go. You will make sure that wherever patrons are around the stadium, they will be able to rely on you for directions.
