The party of the year is BACK and in 2018 we are entering a whole new stratosphere. ZM Friday Jams Live 2018 will boast a jaw-dropping line-up featuring some of the biggest names from ZM’s Friday Jams show. Simply put, it’s the biggest RNB event that New Zealand has ever seen. We're bringing you Usher, Salt-N-Pepa, Next, Eve, Lil Jon, Naughty by Nature, Ginuwine, Estelle, Che Fu and the Kratez, Kings, Fatman Scoop and Taio Cruz.
 
Illusive Presents, Frontier Touring and ZM will bring the most acclaimed names of RNB to the stage this November, for one monster show only at Western Springs Stadium.

ZM Friday Jams Live scales up to the far bigger venue to house the colossal line-up and inevitable demand from fans. Yep, this year is serious.

Venue Information

Event Parking
There is no onsite parking. During large events parking is available on the streets surrounding Western Springs Stadium. Please be aware that some streets will be subject to road closures or parking restrictions. These are outlined below.

Mobility Parking
Onsite parking is available for patrons who hold a valid mobility permit. If you are attending a concert and require mobility parking, please email info@aucklandstadiums.co.nz with your permit number, event name and date to register. Your permit will also need to be presented on entry.  Please note exit from the carpark can be delayed following the conclusion of the show to allow for safe pedestrian movement.

Mobility parking is limited therefore is strictly reserved for patrons who hold a mobility permit.

Campervan/Motorhome Parking
Campervan/Motorhome parking is not available onsite. You can locate nearby camping sites at https://campable.com/

Coach Parking
If you are bringing a group to an event by coach please email info@aucklandstadiums.co.nz to enquire about coach parking.

Authorised Sellers
Please only purchase tickets from the authorised ticketing agent (Ticketmaster). We cannot guarantee the validity or authenticity of tickets purchased from third party sellers such as Viagogo or individuals selling on Trade Me.

Is my seat covered?
Western Springs is an entirely open air venue. Umbrellas may not be erected within the stadium during events so if rain is predicted, please bring a poncho or raincoat.

Children
This is an all ages event however all patrons (including babies) must hold their own ticket.

Gate Sales
If not sold out prior, gate sales will be available from the box office on the outer field from 9am on event day.

 

 

A variety of food and beverage outlets with bar service will be located throughout the venue.

If you are under 25 please bring identification if you wish to purchase alcohol. Accepted forms of ID are - Passport, NZ Drivers Licence or HANZ 18+ card. If we are unsure of your age and you cannot present ID, you will not be able to purchase alcohol.

Eftpos is available at most food and beverage outlets

You are welcome to bring in small quantities of non commercially prepared food such as sandwiches, fruit or baking. You may also bring a sealed plastic bottle of water (up to 1 litre) however please note that for most concerts, the lid will be removed and discarded on entry.

At Western Springs Stadium we go out of our way to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable experience. In return, we ask you to respect our facilities and help contribute to an enjoyable event for all our patrons. To achieve this, we require all visitors to the stadium to meet the following conditions of entry. Please note, conditions are subject to change without notice.

Dress Code
For safety reasons, footwear is to be worn at all times.

We do not permit gang patches or gang paraphernalia to be displayed.

Security

Stadium management and its representatives reserve the right to request patrons to present any clothing, bags and other carried items for searching, including being subject to a pat down and/or a scanner search before entering the stadium.

If you refuse to present any of the requested items for searching, you will be denied entry.

Entry will be refused if a patron is intoxicated or under the influence of illicit substances.

Search on Entry

You and/or your possessions will be subject to a safety and security search / wanding upon entry. Below is a list of prohibited items. Confiscated items will not be returned, replaced or reimbursed. Stadium management and the promoter take no responsibility for confiscated items.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • Bags larger than (A3) 400mm x 300mm x 300mm
  • Video cameras and recording device (this does not include mobile phones)
  • Photographic devices with a lens larger than a standard watch face (not exceeding 4cm in diameter).
  • Prams and strollers
  • Selfie sticks, Go Pros, Drones
  • Banners with poles
  • iPads or Tablets
  • Cans or glass of any kind
  • Strictly NO alcohol or illicit drugs
  • Branded or commercial food and drinks, including takeaways
  • Metal utensils and containers, cutlery, etc.
  • Chilly bins / Coolers
  • Dangerous goods
  • Fireworks, flares, lasers or flash lights
  • Knives, Tasers, Mace, Chains, Spurs or Studded Jewellery
  • Offensive weapons including, but not limited to, any object that may be used as a projectile such as glow sticks, balls, containers, etc.
  • Air horns and loud hailers
  • Umbrellas or other sun/rain shelters
  • Furniture chairs or stools
  • Skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles or scooters
  • Animals (excluding service dogs such as guide dogs and police or emergency service dogs)
  • Any other items deemed by stadium management or the promoter to be illegal, dangerous or a nuisance to yourself or others

Please note that prohibited items will be confiscated and will not be returned. If in doubt, leave it at home. Stadium management and the promoter take no responsibility for confiscated items.

PERMITTED ITEMS

  • Cushions no larger than (A3) 400mm x 300mm x 300mm
  • Small personal cameras and camera phones are allowed. Professional cameras, or any camera with a lens larger than a standard watch face will not be permitted.
  • Empty plastic bottle without lid (up to 750ml) to use at the free water stations.
  • Sealed bottle of water (up to 750ml) - please note lid will be discarded on entry to the stadium.
  • Disability assistance dogs.
  • Signs no larger than (A3) 400mm x 300mm with sticks and poles detached before entering the stadium.
  • Small quantities of home prepared food.

Drugs and Alcohol Policy

  • Western Springs Stadium complies with the Liquor Licensing Authority and prohibits the serving of alcohol to intoxicated or under-aged persons.
  • There will be zero tolerance for intoxication. 
  • Those who arrive at the gates intoxicated will be refused entry into the event, and patrons who become intoxicated will be escorted from the venue.
  • Intoxicated or under-aged persons who are apprehended with alcohol will be escorted from the premises.
  • Persons supplying alcohol to underage patrons will be evicted from the premises.
  • Western Springs Stadium maintains a strict 'no drugs' policy. 
  • Illicit drugs are prohibited and will be confiscated at the gate.
  • Any persons apprehended with drugs in their possession will be escorted from the premises.
  • Incidents involving alcohol or drugs will be referred to the NZ Police where the situation requires it.

Lost, Stolen or Damaged Property
Stadium management takes no responsibility for any damage to, loss or theft of a patron’s personal property while on Stadium property.

Items of value recovered after an event will be taken to the central Police Station.

Behaviour
In extreme cases, a patron who exhibits unacceptable or disruptive behaviour will be asked to leave the stadium. Dangerous activities such as aggressive moshing, stage diving, crowd surfing and climbing are not permitted and may result in the removal of patrons from the event. Failure to comply with a direction from stadium staff, security staff or the NZ Police to leave the event venue after having being warned to leave may render the ticket holder liable to arrest and prosecution for the offence of trespass under section 4 of the Trespass Act 1980 which is punishable on conviction by a fine not exceeding $1,000 or a term of imprisonment not exceeding 3 months.

Smoking
Western Springs Stadium is a SMOKE FREE venue. Patrons must not smoke within the venue. This includes the use of e-cigarettes and vaporisers.

Travel to ZM Friday Jams on the Northern Express (NX2) and direct special event buses from Midtown is included with your pre-purchased event ticket. Remember to keep your event ticket for the ride home.

Travel included with your ticket on NX2 services starts at 4:30pm, and runs until end of service.

Travel included with your ticket on City Centre special event buses will run from 4:30pm to 7:30pm, and then for 1 hour post event or until the crowd is clear.

Public Transport Info

The following road closures and parking restrictions will be in place on the event day to assist with the smooth running of the event, alleviate congestion on the surrounding roads, and support safe pedestrian movement and public transport operations.
Road Closures:
• Stadium Rd: from 7am on Friday, 16 November until 1am on Monday, 19 November.
• Bullock Track: from 7am on Sunday, 18 November until 1am on Monday, 19 November.
• West View Rd: from midday Sunday 18 November until 1am on Monday, 19 November.
• Great North Rd (Motions Rd to Bullock Track): from 8pm Sunday, 18 November until 1am on Monday, 19 November.

Parking Restrictions:
• West View Rd: Authorised Vehicles only - from midday Sunday, 18 November until 1am the following morning.
• Great North Rd (Motions Rd to St Lukes - Southern): No Stopping from 3pm Sunday, 18 November until 1am the following morning.
• Great North Rd (Motions Rd to St Lukes - Northern): Bus Parking from 3pm Sunday, 18 November until 1am the following morning.
• Great North Rd (Bullock Track Extending East 400m): P 5min from 3pm Sunday, 18 November until 1am the following morning.
• Motions Rd 100m from Great North Rd: No stopping both side from 3pm Sunday, 18 November until 1am the following morning.
