New Zealand’s premier outdoor concert and festival venue, Go Media Stadium Mt Smart hosts some of the world’s best entertainment acts.

As well as the main arena, Go Media Stadium features an international standard athletics facility, multi-purpose function spaces and a range of community-focused facilities catering for more than 500,000 visitors a year.

Recent concerts have included international superstars such as Adele, Queen and Adam Lambert, Bruce Springsteen, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Coldplay and Justin Bieber. Past acts have included Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles and U2 just to name a few.

Go Media Stadium is home to Athletics Auckland, Auckland Football Federation, Oceania Football Confederation and the One New Zealand Warriors.

Event Parking
There is typically no onsite parking for large events such as concerts and sporting events. During large events, parking is available on the streets surrouding Go Media Stadium Mt Smart (please be aware that some streets may be closed for the event delivery). 

Local businesses also often open their premises for parking during events for a small fee.

Function Attendee Parking
Parking for function attendees during non-event periods is generally be accessed via O'Rorke Road.

Athletics Events
Limited onsite parking during athletics events can be accessed via O'Rorke Road.

Mobility Parking for Warriors Games

Mobility parking for Warriors games is available on Beasley Ave. Please present your mobility permit to traffic control staff for access. Pre registering is not required.

For all other events, mobility parking is available via O'Rorke Road.

Mobility parking is limited therefore is strictly reserved for patrons who hold a mobility permit only.

Mobility Parking
Onsite parking is available for patrons who who hold a valid mobility permit. If you are attending a concert and require mobility parking, please email bookings@aucklandstadiums.co.nz with your permit number, event name and date to register. Your permit will also need to be presented on entry.

Campervan/Motorhome Parking
Campervan/Motorhome parking is not available onsite. You can locate nearby camping sites at https://campable.com/

Coach Parking
If you are bringing a group to an event by coach please email info@aucklandstadiums.co.nz to enquire about coach parking. For concerts Coach parking is usually located on Hugo Johnson Drive.

Wheelchair accessible tickets are available for all events. Please contact the tickeing agent directly to purchase accessible tickets. 

If you have had a change of circumstance since purchasing your tickets and now require accessible seating, please contact the ticketing agent directly to discuss options for changing your tickets.

Public transport options to the stadium include bus and train. Visit the Auckland Transport website for information.

For large events special event bus and train services  are usually included with your event ticket. Check the event page to see if this applies.

 

Authorised Sellers
Please only purchase tickets from the authorised ticketing agent for each event. We cannot guarantee the validity or authenticity of tickets purchased from third party sellers such as Viagogo or individuals selling on Trade Me and invalid tickets will be refused entry.

Your bay, row and seat number can be found on your ticket. 
Row A starts closest to the field.

Is my seat covered?
Seats located in Bays 1-8 of the West (Colin Kay) stand and Seats in Bays 35-43 and Bays 51-53 of the East Stand are covered. Because the stadium is not fully enclosed, wind and rain direction can impact seats within these areas so it is always advisable to bring a poncho or rain coat if wet weather is predicted.

Food and beverage outlets are located throughout the stadium within close proximity to patron seating. Depending on the size of the event, the stadium outlets may be supplemented with mobile concession outlets.

Bar service is available at most events. If you are under 25 please bring identification if you wish to purchase alcohol. Accepted forms of ID are - Passport, NZ Drivers Licence or HANZ 18+ card. If we are unsure of your age and you do not have ID, you will not be able to purchase alcohol.

EFTPOS is available at most food and beverage outlets.

You are welcome to bring in small quanitites of non commercially prepared food such as sandwiches, fruit or baking. You may also bring a sealed plastic bottle of water (up to 1 litre) however please note that for most concerts, the lid will be removed and discarded on entry. These conditions can change from event to event depending on security requirements so please check the event page for the concert you are attending for its specific conditions.

We are predominately an outdoor venue. Events go ahead rain or shine unless it is usafe to do so.

Umbrellas are not permitted for concerts so if rain is predicted then please be prepared! We would recommend bringing a raincoat or poncho.
