If the event is unable to take place on the advertised date of Sat Jan 22, 2022 due to government regulations regarding COVID-19, the event will be postponed to Sat April 2, 2022 and your tickets will remain valid for this back-up date (no refunds).

You are welcome to bring a soft cushion to sit on however please note that chairs (including folding beach/deck chairs) are not permitted.

Public Transport is included with your concert ticket to and from Western Springs on all Auckland Transport trains, buses and special event buses. To check out the times and locations of transport options look here

Bike Auckland will provide Valet Bike Parking, allowing participants to cycle near to the entrance of Western Springs stadium, where their bikes will be cared for during the event.

Yes, The following road closures will be in place on the event day to assist with the smooth running of the event, alleviate congestion on the surrounding roads, and support safe pedestrian movement and public transport operations.

  • Stadium Road, from 7pm – 12 Jan until 1am – 23 Jan.
  • Bullock Track between Great North Road and Surrey Cres from 7pm – 22 Jan until 1am – 23 Jan

  • Great North Road between Motions Road and Tuarangi Road from 8pm – 22 Jan until 1am – 23 Jan

  • State Highway 16 East Bound, Off Ramp (R3) from 8pm – 22 Jan until 1 am – 23 Jan

  • State Highway West Bound, Off Ramp (R1) from 8pm – 22 Jan until 1 am – 23 Jan

 

There are no onsite parking facilities for this event. We strongly encourage patrons to use the free travel on special event bus and train services to get to and from the concert. If public transport is not an option, parking is available on the streets surrounding the stadium. Please be aware that some streets are subject to road closures or parking restrictions.  These are listed below:

  • Great North Rd: Southern Kerb P5 (Motions Rd to St Lukes Rd): Sat 2pm – Sun 1am
  • Great North Rd: Northern & Southern Kerb P5 (Tuarangi Rd to 695 Great north Rd): Sat 2pm – Sun 1am
  • Tuarangi Rd: No Stopping Wexford Rd to Great North Rd Sat 3pm – Sun 1am
  • Old Mill Rd: Northern Kerb (Motions Rd to Savage St) coned out from approx. 7am Sat

 

A range of catering outlets will be available along with bar service will be available.

​You may bring a small amount of home prepared food such as sandwiches, baking or fruit however commercially prepared food products, including takeaway meals or soft drinks are not permitted. 

If you are under 25 and intending on purchasing alcohol, please ensure you bring ID - Accepted forms of ID are HAANZ 18+ card, NZ Drivers Licence or Passport.

Lids from all beverages (including water and soft drinks) will be removed on purchase to reduce the safety risk of full bottles being thrown.

SEARCH ON ENTRY

You and/or your possessions will be subject to a safety and security search / wanding upon entry. Below is a list of prohibited items. Confiscated items will not be returned, replaced or reimbursed. Stadium management and the promoter take no responsibility for confiscated items.

If you do not require to have a bag with you, leave it at home.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • Bags larger than (A3) 400mm x 300mm (16”x12”)
  • Video cameras and recording device (this does not include mobile phones)
  • Photographic devices with a lens larger than a standard watch face (not exceeding 4cm in diameter) and/or a removable lens.
  • Prams and strollers
  • Selfie sticks, Go Pros, Drones
  • Banners with poles
  • Signs no larger than (A3) 400mm x 300mm (16”x12”) with sticks and poles detached before entering the stadium.
  • iPads or Tablets
  • Cans or glass of any kind
  • Strictly NO alcohol or illicit drugs
  • Branded or commercial food and drinks, including takeaways
  • Metal utensils and containers, cutlery, etc.
  • Chilly bins / Coolers
  • Dangerous goods
  • Fireworks, flares, lasers or flash lights
  • Knives, Tasers, Mace, Chains, Spurs or Studded Jewellery
  • Offensive weapons including, but not limited to, any object that may be used as a projectile such as glow sticks, balls, containers, etc.
  • Air horns and loud hailers
  • Umbrellas or other sun/rain shelters
  • Furniture chairs or stools
  • Skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles or scooters
  • Animals (excluding service dogs such as guide dogs and police or emergency service dogs)
  • Any other items deemed by stadium management or the promoter to be illegal, dangerous or a nuisance to yourself or others

Please note that prohibited items will be confiscated and will not be returned. If in doubt, leave it at home. Stadium management and the promoter take no responsibility for confiscated items.

 

PERMITTED ITEMS

  • Small personal cameras and camera phones are allowed. Professional cameras, or any camera with a lens larger than a standard watch face or with a removable lens will not be permitted.
  • Empty plastic bottle without lid (up to 750ml) to be used at the free water stations.
  • Sealed bottle of water (up to 750ml) - please note lid will be discarded on entry to the stadium.
  • Disability assistance dogs.
  • Small quantities of home prepared food.
