Welcome Back, Warriors Fans! Here’s Wahs New at the Stadium
Warriors fans, the wait is nearly over! We can’t wait to welcome you back to Go Media Stadium for another exciting season of NRL action. While you’ve been away, we’ve made some exciting upgrades to enhance your matchday experience.
Here’s what’s you might have missed during the off-season:
Faster Entry with Ticket Scanning Turnstiles
Our new ticket scanning turnstiles at the gates will get you into the action quicker and more smoothly than ever before. Just have your ticket ready before you arrive at the gate, then either scan your ticket barcode at the bottom of the turnstile or tap your digital wallet on the top and that’s it! Then head straight in to enjoy the game.
*Handy little hint, scan one ticket and then enter one at a time* - if one person has all of your tickets then try to transfer them before you arrive or pass the phone down your group.
Allocated Seating in the South Stand
This season, the South Stand will have allocated seating instead of general admission. This change ensures that everyone has a designated spot and makes it easier to find your seat.
If you’re not sure where to go then check in with our friendly volunteers or security staff and they can help point you in the right direction.
A Stunning New Mural in the Lower East Stand
We’ve added a breathtaking mural in the lower East Stand, featuring a special tribute to the One NZ Warriors. The mural celebrates the past, present and future of Rarotonga, Go Media Stadium, a history that is forever linked with the Warriors — make sure to stop by and take a look!
New Bike Parking at Gates A, B, and C
Cycling to the game? We’ve made it easier with new bike parking areas outside Gates A, B, and C. These secure bike racks provide a convenient and eco-friendly way to travel to and from the stadium.
A Second Replay Screen
Never miss a moment, no matter where you’re sat! A second replay screen has been installed in the south-east corner so that you never miss a thing. Now, you’ll have even more opportunities to relive those game-changing moments. Whether it’s a huge hit from James Fisher-Harris or an acrobatic finish from Dallin Watene-Zelezniak – we’ve got you covered.
New Lighting
New lighting has been installed in the Upper South Stand and outside the stadium to ensure a brighter, safer, welcoming atmosphere, day or night.
Bookable Mobility Parking
We’ve upgraded our accessibility options with bookable mobility parking, making it easier for fans who need it to secure a spot in advance. To reserve a space, simply check the Warriors matchday event page on our website for a guide, or email us directly at info@aucklandstadiums.co.nz before the matchday.
Please note that bookable spaces onsite are limited and that non-reserved spaces will still be available on a first-come, first-served basis on Beasley Ave. on matchdays for patrons with a mobility permit.
New Seats in the Upper West Stand
Blue is the colour! Out with the yellow and in with the new – there’s only one colour that we could choose for the new seating in the upper West Stand, right? Enjoy improved comfort and enhanced support with these new blue seats.
Dedicated Rideshare Spot
Getting an Uber or another rideshare to the game? We’ve got you. Get dropped off and picked up in the same location with one of our three new rideshare zones:
Blue Rideshare Pick Up/Drop Off - Neilson Street
Green Rideshare Pick Up/Drop Off - Station Road
Yellow Rideshare Pick Up/Drop Off - Goodman Place
More Wah-ter Stations
Stay hydrated on game day! We’ve installed additional water stations throughout the stadium for easy access to free drinking water. Keep an eye out for the colourful design and don’t forget to bring your reusable (plastic) bottle to make the most of them.
We can’t wait to see you back in the stands, cheering on the Eagles! Let’s make this season one to remember!
