Quick guide: Entering the stadium using our new ticket turnstiles
Heading into a stadium should be fast, easy and fuss-free.
Our brand new, state of the art ticket turnstiles have been installed permanently at Go Media Stadium, with mobile versions of the scanners deployed at our other venues, including Western Springs Stadium and North Harbour Stadium.
Follow these simple steps to move through the turnstiles quickly and get to your seat.
Step-by-step entry
Mobile wallet ticket
- If your ticket is in your mobile wallet, open your mobile wallet and select your ticket.
- Hold your phone on top of the turnstile against the scanner - just like using paywave.
- Wait for the beep and the green confirmation screen before proceeding.
Barcode ticket
- If your ticket has a barcode, scan it at the bottom of the turnstile using the reader.
- If the barcode is on your phone, turn the screen brightness up so the scanner can read it easily.
- If the barcode is printed, then unfold the paper and hold it flat underneath the scanner.
Time to enter!
- Once the scanner beeps and you see the green screen confirming your ticket has been accepted, walk through the turnstiles and enjoy your event!
Top tips before you arrive:
- Download your mobile ticket to your wallet before you arrive.
- Charge your phone if your ticket is on your device.
- Download while you have good signal or Wi-Fi to avoid problems at the gate.
- Multiple tickets: Transfer each ticket to the individual members of your party where possible. If you can’t, have the party leader stand at the front and scan their ticket to enter, then scan in each member. Passing the phone back and forth often fails because of Face ID and lock screens — scanning each person from the front is simpler and faster.
Troubleshooting & rules
Invalid ticket = denied entry. If your ticket fails or you see a red screen, please chat to security for assistance.
Security staff are there to help — they’ll check your ticket and advise next steps.
What not to do
- Strictly no tailgating. If you have a valid ticket, please scan it — don’t try to follow someone through without scanning.
- Do not step over the barriers or attempt to force entry. Any attempt to breach entry will result in removal from the venue.
