Go Media Stadium scored 4.4/5 on average from the 13 games surveyed to be crowned “Stadium of the Season” for the second time.

Historic AFC
Auckland FC striker and A-League Men’s Golden Boot winner Sam Cosgrove is proud to see the team’s home venue and vocal fanbase recognised, “We’ve repeatedly said we’ve got the best fans in the league, and this award is proof of that”.
Two years into their A-League journey, Auckland FC have experienced remarkable success home and away.
At home matches at Go Media Stadium, Auckland FC have recorded the highest average attendance in the A-League in successive seasons.
“They turn out in numbers every weekend, create a huge amount of noise and spur us on. I’ll never forget the game against the Jets in the rain earlier in the season. I’ve never seen fans like that. That’s dedication.” Said Cosgrove.
Continued Recognition
The latest PFA Award continues a successful period for Go Media Stadium, having been named New Zealand’s Large Venue of the Year in 2024 and 2025.
The electric atmosphere of both Auckland FC and One NZ Warriors matches is unrivalled across their codes, with both franchises breaking recent attendance records.
