Go Media Stadium Crowned Best Atmosphere in A-League Men

We’re proud to share that Go Media Stadium has been officially recognised by the PFA (Professional Footballers Australia) as the A-League Men Stadium of the Season for 'Best Atmosphere'.

In just our first season hosting Auckland FC, Go Media Stadium has made a massive impact across the league, receiving a near-perfect 4.8/5 atmosphere rating, as voted by the players themselves.

With an average attendance of 18,101 fans (the highest in the league), it’s clear the people of Tāmaki Makaurau have embraced Auckland’s newest football club. Every match has brought the noise, the passion, and the energy that has helped turn Go Media into a fortress.

Auckland FC CEO, Nick Becker, said:

“This is an award that really needs to go to the fans. They have turned up and made Go Media a fortress. They have brought the noise, the atmosphere, and created an environment that the team love being a part of.”
