Event Information

At Mt Smart Stadium we go out of our way to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable experience. In return, we ask you to respect our facilities and help contribute to an enjoyable event for all our patrons. To achieve this, we require all visitors to the stadium to meet the following conditions of entry. Please note, conditions are subject to change without notice.

This is an over 18s event only so you must present a valid form of ID. No ID, no entry. Accepted forms of ID are HAANZ 18+ card, NZ Drivers Licence or Passport.

For the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all persons attending this event please be advised of the following conditions:

  • You must have a valid ticket or authorisation/accreditation to enter the event;
  • Entry to this event is restricted to persons 18 years and over only. Patrons will be required to present photo ID as proof of age upon entry and upon request within the event;
  • Any person gaining unauthorised access to this event may be liable for prosecution;
  • Any person found not to be wearing an official event wristband will be ejected from the event;
  • Organisers reserve the right to search all persons and all personal possessions at the time of entry to the venue. Failure to comply will mean you will be prevented from entering the event;
  • Activities such as ‘stage diving’, ‘moshing’, ‘climbing’ and ‘crowd surfing’ are strictly prohibited;
  • Persons causing a disturbance or refusing to comply with requests from Security will be ejected from the event;
  • The promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or reject patrons from the event at it’s sole discretion;
  • The promoter or venue shall not be held liable for loss, injury or damages sustained entering or at the event;
  • By entering this event site you agree to filmed or photographed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes;
  • The promoter reserves the right to vary advertised programmes and to add, withdraw or substitute artists where necessary;
  • Sound at this event may reach levels that can damage your hearing; free earplugs are available from St .John;
  • Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area;
  • No passouts will be permitted;
  • Any person wearing or bearing gang colours, patches or insignias are not permitted entry into the event;
  • Anyone found to be breaking conditions of entry inside or outside the event or any behaviour deemed to be anti social will be refused entry and/or ejected from the site without refund.

SEARCH ON ENTRY
You and/or your possessions will be subject to a safety and security search / wanding upon entry. Below is a list of prohibited items. Confiscated items will not be returned, replaced or reimbursed. Stadium management and the promoter take no responsibility for confiscated items.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • Video cameras and recording devices (this does not include mobile phones)
  • Photographic devices with a lens larger than a standard watch face (not exceeding 4cm in diameter) and/or a removable lens.
  • Prams and strollers
  • Selfie sticks, Go Pros, Drones
  • Banners with poles
  • Cans or glass of any kind
  • Strictly NO alcohol or illicit drugs
  • Branded or commercial food and drinks, including takeaways
  • Metal utensils and containers, cutlery, etc.
  • Chilly bins / Coolers
  • Dangerous goods
  • Fireworks, flares, lasers or flash lights
  • Knives, Tasers, Mace, Chains, Spurs or Studded Jewellery
  • Offensive weapons including, but not limited to, any object that may be used as a projectile such as glow sticks, balls, containers, etc.
  • Air horns and loud hailers
  • Umbrellas or other sun/rain shelters
  • Furniture, chairs or stools
  • Skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles or scooters
  • Animals (excluding service dogs such as guide dogs and police or emergency service dogs)
  • Any item that you intend (or such quantities of the item from which Management can reasonably infer that you inted) to distribute, hawk, sell, offer, expose for sale or display for marketing or promotional purposes;
  • Any other items deemed by stadium management or the promoter to be illegal, dangerous or a nuisance to yourself or others
  • Please note that prohibited items will be confiscated and will not be returned. If in doubt, leave it at home. Stadium management and the promoter take no responsibility for confiscated items.

PERMITTED ITEMS

  • Small personal cameras and camera phones are allowed. Professional cameras, or any camera with a lens larger than a standard watch face or with a removable lens will not be permitted.
  • Empty plastic bottle without lid (up to 750ml) to be used at the free water stations.
  • Sealed bottle of water (up to 750ml) - please note lid will be discarded on entry to the stadium.
  • Disability assistance dogs.
  • Signs no larger than (A3) 400mm x 300mm (16”x12”) with sticks and poles detached before entering the stadium.
  • Small quantities of home prepared food.

DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY

  • Mt Smart Stadium complies with the Liquor Licensing Authority and prohibits the serving of alcohol to intoxicated or under-aged persons.
  • There will be zero tolerance for intoxication. 
  • Those who arrive at the gates intoxicated will be refused entry into the event, and patrons who become intoxicated will be escorted from the venue.
  • Intoxicated or under-aged persons who are apprehended with alcohol will be escorted from the premises.
  • Persons supplying alcohol to underage patrons will be evicted from the premises.
  • Mt Smart Stadium maintains a strict 'no drugs' policy. 
  • Illicit drugs are prohibited and will be confiscated at the gate.
  • Any persons apprehended with drugs in their possession will be escorted from the premises.
  • Incidents involving alcohol or drugs will be referred to the NZ Police where the situation requires it.

BEHAVIOUR
In extreme cases, a patron who exhibits unacceptable or disruptive behaviour will be asked to leave the stadium. Dangerous activities such as aggressive moshing, stage diving, crowd surfing and climbing are not permitted and may result in the removal of patrons from the event. Failure to comply with a direction from Mt Smart Stadium staff, security staff or the NZ Police to leave the event venue after having being warned to leave may render the ticket holder liable to arrest and prosecution for the offence of trespass under section 4 of the Trespass Act 1980 which is punishable on conviction by a fine not exceeding $1,000 or a term of imprisonment not exceeding 3 months.

Do you have a bag/coat check?
No there are no cloaking services available.

I purchased my ticket from Viagogo/Trade Me or another on-seller – will my ticket be accepted?
inTix is the official ticketing agent for this show. We cannot guarantee authenticity of tickets purchased from third party sellers such as Viagogo or individuals selling on Trade Me.

Where can I collect my tickets from at Mt Smart?
All tickets are be electronic.

Are there any cash-out facilities?
EFTPOS facilities will be available within the stadium from all retail units. There will be limited cash out facilities available at Mt Smart Stadium within the stadium.

Can I bring my own food in?
You may bring in a small amount of home prepared foods such as baking, sandwiches, fruit etc. Commercial foods such as takeaways, soft drinks and confectionary are not permitted.

Can I bring a drink in?
Empty plastic bottle without lid (up to 750ml) to use at the free water stations. Sealed bottle of water (up to 750ml) - be aware that the lid will be removed and discarded on entry. Plastic bottles only (no glass or metal) - there are water taps in the stadium.

Can I, or where can I smoke?
No smoking is allowed inside the stadium, but go to the gate you came in and you will be escorted to the smoking area.

Will the concert go ahead if it is raining?
The concert will go ahead rain or shine. If rain is predicted, bring a poncho or raincoat as umbrellas are not permitted.

Lost property?
Any lost property found is taken to the Venue Operations Centre (VOC). Valuable property is taken to Mt Wellington Police Station following the event. Everything else to Stadium Management office for collection (for up to 3 months). Contact info@aucklandstadiums.co.nz with a description of the item you have lost.

I am a mobility patron, where do I go?
Mobility patrons will be met at Gate F, taken through by one of the mobility volunteers, around the ring road to their platform on the West stand.

I am a mobility patron, where do I park?
Main carpark. Enter off O’Rorke Road, accessible with a valid concert ticket and/or a valid standard mobility parking card.

 I have had an injury/sickness, can I please have mobility parking?
Onsite mobility parking is extremely limited therefore is strictly reserved for those who hold a current mobility parking permit.

Where are mobility toilets located?
Mobility toilets are located in: East Stand on the Ground Level and the West Stand Concourse.

Can I bring a walking stick, crutches or a frame?
Yes you can bring one of these in if they are vital for your mobility.

I have had an injury/sickness since I purchased my tickets and my seats are no longer suitable. Can I change my tickets?
Please contact inTix to discuss your tickets.

What public transport will be available after the show?
There are no additional public transport services provided for this event. For public transport options visit Auckland Transport's website.

There is a limited amount of bus only tickets from the venue to Auckland CBD available to purchase from Eventbrite. Tickets are for the 2.15am bus. Click here for more information on this.

Are there any road closures or parking restrictions?
Maurice Road will be closed from 11pm until 2am the following morning.

Where is the best place to get dropped off / picked up?

  • We suggest you get dropped off on Maurice up until 11pm (Maurice Road will be cloased from 11pm until 2am the following morning).
  • There is no allocated drop off/uber/taxi zone - Rockridge Ave (off O’Rorke road) is a good option.
  • There is no event parking on site.
