The Valvoline D1NZ National Drifting Championship returns to the only night theatrical showcase of the season at the bespoke Mt Smart Stadium. Limited tickets available so don't sleep on securing your tickets!

In 2021 D1NZ takes the event concept outdoors and back to one of the original OG custom D1NZ circuits that always provides an electric atmosphere after a 7 year hiatus.

Please note - This event has strictly limited capacity and is an event not to miss if you want action, acceleration and effects not seen with Drifting in NZ – we went indoors but that was just a tease for the attributes we have planned at Mt Smart - Flame throwers, CO2 Cannons, Pyrotechnics, obstacles and more!! 

Stay tuned as the series has many special announcements to follow in the lead up to 2021 with over $50,000 in prizes and prize money on the line.

  • Please note in 2021 The Kaspa Transmissions Pro-Sport party will be completed in its entirety on the first day (Friday) except the Grand Final at Baypark. 
  • Saturday Features the Pro Category only. 

This event is aimed to be a sunsetting evening and night showcase, our aim is to provide an entertaining evening event where battles run from 6.00pm – 9.30pm, Please remember there are no pass outs so to bring what you need. Times may vary and change without notice due to the nature of Motorsport.

GENERAL ADMISSION AREA: 
Limited capacity standing areas and various vantage points around the track, no set seating but guests may bring their own fold out chair.   

Friday - $10.00
Saturday - $20.00

GRAND STAND AREA:  
Access to standing areas plus premium Grandstand seating along with various vantage points

Friday - $20.00
Saturday - $40.00
Weekend - $50.00

VIP AREA: SATURDAY ONLY
Sit back and lounge in style, VIP includes elevated Grass Bank, Marquee, Cash bar, X3 Panhead vouchers, evening food voucher along with bean bags, chill zones and access to the Grandstand if you choose it.

At Mt Smart Stadium we pride ourselves on providing a world-class experience. We ask you to respect our facilities and help contribute to an enjoyable event for all of our patrons. To achieve this, we have the following conditions of entry that we require all visitors to the stadium to meet.

The Stadium and its facilities are here for the use and enjoyment of a variety of visitors, patrons and public users.  As such, there is an expectation that all visitors, patrons and users will adhere to the minimal standards of behaviour and presentation to ensure that all enjoy the environment that is available at the venue.

Dress code

  • Clothing must conform to reasonable standards of decency
  • For safety reasons, footwear is to be worn at all times
  • We do not permit gang patches to be displayed.

Security

  • Stadium management and its representatives reserve the right to request patrons to present any clothing, bags and other carried items for searching before you enter the stadium
  • If you refuse to present any of the requested items for searching, you may be denied entry
  • We reserve the right to search vehicles entering the stadium
  • Entry may be refused if a patron is intoxicated or under the influence of illicit substances.

Stadium Management takes no responsibility for goods surrendered.

Smoke-free policy

Mt Smart Stadium in a totally SMOKEFREE Zone - Patrons must leave the Stadium grounds to smoke.

Drugs and Alcohol Policy

  • Mt Smart Stadium complies with the Liquor Licensing Authority and prohibits the serving of alcohol to intoxicated or under-aged persons
  • Intoxicated or under-aged persons who are apprehended with alcohol will be escorted from the premises
  • Mt Smart Stadium maintains a strict ‘no drugs’ policy, illicit drugs are prohibited and will be confiscated at the gate.  Any persons apprehended with drugs in their possession will be escorted from the premises
  • Incidents involving alcohol or drugs will be referred to the police where the situation requires it.

Behaviour

  • In extreme cases, a patron who exhibits unacceptable or disruptive behaviour may be asked to leave the stadium.
  • Failure to comply with a direction from Mt Smart Stadium staff, security staff or NZ Police to leave the event venue may render the ticket holder liable to arrest and prosecution for the offence of trespass under section 4 Trespass Act 1980 which is punishable on conviction by a fine not exceeding $1,000 or a term of imprisonment not exceeding 3 months.
  • A bag that can fit under your seat
  • A sealed plastic water bottle up to 1 litre
  • Small snacks such as homemade sandwiches, biscuits, small packets of chips, confectionery
  • Guide dog
  • Banners, placards and flags at the discretion of stadium management
  • Chilly bins
  • Branded or commercial food and drinks (i.e. McDonalds, Coca Cola)
  • Cans or glass containers
  • Alcohol or illicit drugs
  • Air horns or loud hailers
  • Large furniture (only small portable fold-out chairs etc)
  • Push chairs in seating areas
  • Animals (except guide dogs)
  • Dangerous goods
  • Recording or photographic devices for commercial purposes
  • Large items that cannot be placed under a seat
  • Items that in the opinion of management/security could cause harm or public nuisance
  • Skateboards, rollerblades or scooters
  • Fireworks, flares or laser lights.
  • Umbrellas are not permitted in the seating areas

There is limited onsite parking available. The carpark can be accessed from O'Rorke Road. Carparking is limited and will be taken on a first come first served basis.
