Get ready for New Zealand's biggest pong tournament!  The Kiwipong World Series brings hundreds of teams together for an epic day of competition.  Teams of two will battle it out, chasing the ultimate prize of being crowned the 2026 Kiwipong World Champions and $10,007 thanks to SoBear.  This year, the action is being taken to the next level in the East Lounge of Go Media Stadium, while proudly supporting the Warriors Community Foundation.

This event is being held in the East Lounge of Go Media Stadium, Penrose, Auckland.

Entry into the Stadium will only be available through Gate C. Our digital wayfinding map can help you find your way to the East Lounge.

Timings for this event are:

  • Registrations open at 11am.
  • First round starts at 12pm.
  • Knockout rounds start at 3pm.
  • Prize giving starts at 6:30pm
  • Event finishes at 7pm

Yes, onsite parking is available in the Main Carpark of Go Media Stadium. 

It's easy to reach Go Media Stadium on public transport with bus and train services from the City Centre and beyond. Our nearest train station is Penrose, from there it is around a 15 minute walk to the stadium.

Yes, Kiwipong World Series will be an 18+ event.
In summary, the minimum age requirement to attend the Kiwipong World Series will be 18 years of age (that is, 18 years as at the date of the event: Saturday 14 November 2026). The promoter reserves the right to evict any persons engaging in illegal activities.

Accepted ID for ALL patrons attending the Kiwipong World Series will be as follows:

  • New Zealand Photo Driver’s Licence or Learner’s Permit
  • Current Passport from any country
  • Kiwi Access Card – 18+ photo identification card issued by Kiwi Access Card Solutions Ltd.
  • HANZ 18+ Card – 18+ photo identification card issued by the Hotel Association of New Zealand
  • Birth Certificate (certified copy is okay) PLUS a Current Photo ID. We must be able to verify both your age and your photo ID, we cannot accept one without the other.
  • Anyone who fails to present an Accepted ID upon entry will not be allowed into Afrosoul. No refunds will be processed for anyone who is denied entry because they did not bring Accepted ID.

Yes, we do have a dress code at Go Media Stadium.

  • For safety reasons, footwear is to be worn at all times.
  • We do not permit gang patches or gang paraphernalia to be displayed.
  • No high-visibility vests or clothing may be worn.

Kiwipong has determinded the official world series rules.

This year, the competition will involve 112 teams split across 16 pools. Each team will compete in 6 games, with the winner of each pool progressing to the knockout stage. From there, teams will go head-to-head, with each win taking them one step closer to the final and the chance to be crowned the 2026 Kiwipong World Champions.

Each game will be 8 minutes in length with 5-minute breaks between rounds.

Pong games will be played with water. However, alcoholic beverages are available to purchase throughout the event.

Yes, delicious food and cold beverages will be available to purchase from the East Lounge. Team entry also includes two drink tokens and one pizza
