GRAMMY Award ®-winning, global superstar Harry Styles brings his LOVE ON TOUR 2023 World Tour to Mt Smart on Tuesday, 7 March. 

Below you will find  important information to plan for a great night out. This page is updated reguarly so be sure to check back closer to the show for any addtional information.  Final event information will also be emailed to the main ticket purchaser prior to the show.

A lost property collection opportunity is available at Gate B box office (access from Maurice Rd) from 10am-4pm on Wednesday 8 March and Thursday 9 March.

We have had some items handed in, if you'd like us to check if we have your item please email us here with a thorough description of the item or just drop in.

This is an all-ages event. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Children (including babies) require their own ticket.

 

For the wellbeing and safety of our patrons, camping inside or directly outside the venue prior to event day is not permitted. There are no facilities or security outside the venue to support overnight camping.

No priority entry will be given to anyone camping outside the venue prior to event day.

Parents/Guardians - please do not drop off minors to camp outside the venue.  This is not safe.  

Anyone camping outside the venue prior to 8:00am on event day will be moved on.

Queueing will be permitted on show day from 8am on Maurice Road. Please note that fan made early line systems will not be honoured.

Any bags left unattended will be disposed of.

If you are intending on arriving early, we recommend looking at the weather forecast and bringing appropriate items with you such as sunscreen, a hat and water. The queueing area is located outside of the venue and not all areas are covered by shade.

You may bring a small collapsable umbrella to use for shelter/shade however please do not erect during the show.

You can bring banners, flags (without poles) and posters no larger than A3 and from cloth or paper only. 

There is NO general public car parking available at the Stadium and streets within the immediate precinct of Mt Smart Stadium, and the Penrose railway station will be closed to support the safe and comfortable delivery of special event bus and train services. Some local businesses offer their premises for parking at a cost. Please note, if you park at a premise within the road closures exit may be delayed for up to an hour following the concert finish time. 

MOBILITY PARKING

Onsite mobility parking is extremely limited therefore strictly only available for patrons who hold a valid mobility permit. To register for mobility parking please click here. You will require your permit number to submit a request.  Requests must be received by Sunday, 5 March.

Note: Exit from the carpark may be delayed for up to an hour following the concert to ensure safe pedestrian movement.

Buses

Travel on scheduled bus services is included with your concert ticket from 12pm until the end of service that day. Simply show your concert ticket when you board. Go to AT.govt.nz/journey planner or use the AT Mobile app to plan your journey in advance. 

Special event buses will be going to and from Auckland City Centre, before and after the concert.

 

Some bus route options to Mt Smart Stadium:

From Sylvia Park: hop onboard the 743 bus route which will bring you close to Mt Smart Stadium. This option takes approximately 15 minutes during off peak hours.

From Newmarket: There is a rail replacement bus service from Newmarket (service RBS – New Market to Otahuhu). This option will go past Penrose Train Station which is a quick 10 minute walk from Mt Smart Stadium. This bus service comes every 20 – 30 minutes. 

Some bus route options from Mt Smart Stadium after the event:

There are major bus routes departing near Mt Smart Stadium to various destinations after the concert including the 30, 66, 309, 670 and 743. To find the best bus route for you, search your destination in Journey Planner on our website, or download the AT Mobile app (AT Mobile app)

Trains

Travel on train services is included with your concert ticket from ­­­­12 midday. Just show your concert ticket to the Auckland Transport staff when asked. Please note Penrose station is closed and a rail replacement service will be in place. 
Getting to Mt Smart Stadium:

From Britomart via Otahuhu: take a train to Otahuhu Train Station, and transfer to a rail replacement bus which will bring you to Penrose Train Station. From there it is a quick 10-minute walk over to Mt Smart Stadium.

Departing Mt Smart Stadium:

The last trains depart Otahuhu around 11:30pm. If you are leaving after 11:30pm you may want to walk to a nearby bus stop to take a regular scheduled bus. To find the best bus route for you, search your destination in Journey Planner on our website, or download the AT Mobile app (AT Mobile app)

Taxis, Rideshares & Private Drop off/Pick up

Eventgoers using rideshare or taxi services can be dropped off and picked up on Station Road. This is approximately a 5-10 min walk from Mt Smart Stadium.

Drivers will not be able to get any closer to Mt Smart Stadium due to the road closures that will be in place for the concert so best to drop your passengers in the dedicated area on Station Road.

Park/Drop and ride

Alexandra Park Raceway

Free parking is available at Alexandra Park from 11am Tuesday. Once you’ve parked or have been dropped off you can take free special event transport to and from Mt Smart Stadium. Get there early to avoid delays.

You can access the Alexandra Park carpark via two entrances:

1. Campbell Crescent (off Manukau Road),

2. Greenlane West.

 

Park and Walk

A significant amount of free, non-time limited car parking is available on the following streets within a 1 km walk from Mt Smart Stadium.

Limited free parking will be available at 17-24 Botha Road, Penrose from 5.00pm. It is a 20-minute walk to Mt Smart Stadium.

Car park spaces are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis so we recommend arriving early to secure your spot. Please continue to check the event page as more may become available. 

Street Parking:

A significant amount of free, non-time limited carparking is available on the following streets which are within a 1 km walk from Mt Smart Stadium. We have a dedicated bike parking location onsite for this event managed by Bike Auckland. Bike parking is available opposite Gate B next to the bag drop location. Look for the Bike Auckland flags. 

Beam e Scooters will also be available in the area.

If you are mobility impaired please enter via Gate B. Our team of volunteers will be available to assist with wheelchairs and buggys to get you to your ticketed area.

If you are attending this show in a wheelchair, please ensure you have purchased accessible tickets as not all areas of the venue are accessible by wheelchair. If you are unsure, please contact Ticketmaster on 09 970 9711 or visit www.ticketmaster.co.nz/help.

Strobe lighting will be used throughout the performance.

There will be haze used at points during and at the end of the performance.

There will be no pyro, lasers, balloons, or confetti used during the performance.

Mt Smart is predominately an uncovered venue so please be prepared for the weather conditions.

If rain is predicted come prepared with a raincoat or poncho.

 

A range of catering outlets will be available along with bar service.  Accepted forms of ID are NZ Drivers Licence, Passport or 18+ Kiwi Access Card. If bar staff are unsure of your age and you cannot provide ID, you will not be served. 

Commercially prepared food and beverages such as takeaway meals or soft drinks are not permitted. Alcohol is strictly prohibited. 

Only a limited number of retail outlets will accept cash, so eftpos/credit is recommended. 

Mt Smart Stadium is a totally SMOKE-FREE venue. This includes the use of e-cigarettes and vaporisers. Please be considerate of others.  

Mt Smart Stadium is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable space for all patrons. If you feel unsafe or require assistance at any point during the event, you can contact our control centre by texting the word ‘assist’ followed by your location and message to the number 260.  

The official ticketing partner for this event is Ticketmaster. We cannot guarantee the validity or authenticity of any tickets purchases from 3rd party sellers such as Trade Me, Viagogo or private sales. 

On show day external merch stands will be located outside Gates A (from 10am) and Gates B & C (from 3pm).

VIP collection points are located at Gates A & C for Gold and Silver Premium Seats and Gate F for Early Entry Front Floor Standing. Refer to VIP communications and for any VIP enquiries please contact  vip@livenation.com.au

  • Cans, aluminium or glass containers, bottles or cutlery (this includes bottles of perfume)  
  • Alcohol or illicit drugs  
  • Air horns or loud hailers  
  • Furniture, chairs or stools  
  • Prams or strollers  
  • Animals (except for Assistance Dogs)  
  • Dangerous goods  
  • Video cameras and recording devices such as drones, iPads, tablets or Go Pros (cell phones are ok)  
  • Cameras with a removable lens, a lens larger than a regular watch face or cameras which may be deemed to be for professional use  
  • Selfie sticks  
  • Costume/dress-up full-face masks and helmets  
  • Skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles or scooters  
  • Fireworks, flares or laser lights  
  • Large poles for flags that could be considered dangerous or view obstructing  

Permitted Items

  • A bag no larger than an A4 size of paper (offical merchandise items are ok)
  • Sealed plastic bottle of water up to 750ml (lid may be removed on entry) * or empty plastic water bottle up to 750ml to fill up at free water stations. 
  • Small quantities of home prepared food such as sandwiches, baking or fruit  
  • Banners, flags (without poles) and posters no larger than A3 size.
  • Small collapsable umbrella to be used for shade/shelter during the day however umbrellas must not be erected during the show.

No backpacks. 

Bag size must not exceed 210mm x 297mm (A4 size).  Official merchandise items are ok.

Bag check is available at Gates A, B, C & E.

*Please retain your stub to collect your items at the end of the night.

The Box Office at Gate B will be open from 9am on show day.
