With the Auckland Stadiums team taking out the inaugural event, all bets are off for 2025, with the expansion from 16 to a whopping 20 teams, the competition for the F.F Shield just got real! 

Demand has been huge, our phones have been ringing off the hook with questions about when this grand tournament will return. 

The wait is over, tighten up your cleats and slip on your shin pads. Prepare yourself to kick off the competition with a screamer top left hand corner from 25 yards!

‘MusicHelps are excited the Footy Fundraiser is back for its second year. It’s a fantastic way to bring together all sectors of the music industry to enjoy a day of friendly competition and raise some money. Our thanks to Dave Munro (Eccles Entertainment) and Finn McLennan-Elliott (The Tuning Fork) for once again producing the event and proving professional rivalry can be an instrument for good.’

All profits from team registrations go to MusicHelps, supporting Aotearoa’s music community through their mental health and wellbeing programmes, the Benevolent Fund, and the Legacy Project.

Each team is guaranteed at least four games, and of course, some sideline laughs and industry banter. Whether you're lacing up or just cheering from the stands, there’s a way to get involved.

Team Registrations Options:

  • Just a bunch of mates – $400 (Team of up to 12)
  • Company’s got this one – $600 (Team of up to 12)

  • High Rollers – $800 (Team of up to 12, you legends)

Important Notes:

  • One registration per team
  • All participants must be 16 years of age and over
  • Enter your team name when registering
  • Teams must have at least two non-male players on the field at all times (excluding the keeper)
  • Teams are limited to 12 players maximum

The Footy Fundraiser is happening at Mt Smart Stadium, Arena 2. Located in Penrose, Auckland. You can find directions to the venue here. 

 

It's easy to reach Go Media Stadium on public transport with bus and train services from the City Centre and beyond. Our nearest train station is Penrose, from there it is around a 15 minute walk to the stadium.

We cannot guarantee the validity or authenticity of tickets purchased from third party sellers or individuals selling on other online marketplaces. Non-valid tickets will be refused entry. 

Please refer to your ticket and enter only via the gate shown on your ticket. Stadiums staff, volunteers and wayfinding signage will assist you with directions upon arriving at the venue.

There is no public parking onsite unless you're a mobility permit holder.

In the interest of patron safety, there will be some parking restrictions in place for this event. We will update exact details of the restrictions closer to the time of the event.

Go Media Stadium is a mobility friendly venue. Mobility parking is on a first-in, first-served basis along the Eastern curb of Beasley Ave. We also have a limited number of spaces available in the main carpark for mobility card holders once Beasley Ave is full.

Yes. Unless specifically stated the match will take place rain, hail or shine. Go Media Stadium is predominately an uncovered venue so please be prepared with a poncho or raincoat should wet weather be forecasted.
