Following the release of their universally acclaimed new album But Here We Are, Frontier Touring is thrilled to announce 15-time GRAMMY® winners Foo Fighters will return to Australia and New Zealand this summer.

Globally renowned for an unrivalled live show, Foo Fighters head to stadiums in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane in November/December 2023, followed by Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington in January 2024.

This will be the band's first return to Go Media Stadium and first headline tour of both countries since 2018.

Foo Fighters will be supported by two electric acts for the New Zealand leg of their world tour.

An essential party-punk voice for working people, five-piece Dick Move are notorious for their pumping live shows. Their blink-and-you’ll-miss-it punk anthems can be heard on latest album Chop. 

90s alternative rock band The Breeders will head to Auckland following a triumphant return in 2018 with their original stellar lineup.

Before You Arrive

Before you arrive at the venue please:

  • Remember to print or pre download your tickets prior to arriving at the venue. For mobile tickets, please turn up your brightness to the max setting.
  • Know which gate you need to enter. Check your ticket type to confirm. You will be redirected if you try to enter at the wrong gate.
  • Prepare for the predicted weather conditions of the day.
  • Ensure that all children under the age of 14 are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times and have purchased a valid ticket.
  • Be aware that for safety reasons, footwear is to be worn at all times.

Gates open on showday at 4.15pm, with the show starting from 5.30pm.    

This is an all ages show, but as it's a loud, licensed concert, we do not recommend attendance by children aged 5 years and under. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times and have purchased a valid ticket. No concession tickets will be available for children, they must have a full adult ticket.

Yes, please call the Ticketmaster Contact Centre if you require wheelchair or accessible seating bookings, or are otherwise unable to complete a ticket purchase online.

The Box Office is located at Gate B and will be open from 2.45pm on show day, before gates open. There will be Ticketmaster staff located at the Box Office to assist you with any ticketing queries. 

This event has integrated ticketing, with regular Auckland Transport bus & rail services included with your ticket to travel to and from the event. Integrated ticketing begins 2-hours before gates open at 2.15pm and lasts until the end of daily services. 

Please be aware that there is rail disruption between Britomart & Newmarket on concert day, with replacement buses in place. 

Special Event Services buses will run from Auckland CBD from 4.15pm until 1-hour post-concert, or until the venue is cleared.

The following roads will be closed to unauthorised vehicles for this event: 

  • Beasley Ave; Saturday 20 Jan, 5:00AM – 1:00AM​ 
  • Maurice Rd, O’Rorke Rd, Station Rd, Fairfax Ave, Rockridge Rd and Olive Rd; Saturday 20 Nov, 2:15PM – 1:00AM​ (Sunday 21 Jan) 

Other roads will also be impacted in the area. For more information on the roads which are affected, please visit Auckland Transport’s guidance here.  

There is no onsite parking provided for this event. Limited parking may be available on the streets and businesses surrounding Go Media Stadium. Please be aware that some surrounding streets will be closed during the event. 

In the interest of patron safety, there will be some parking restrictions in place for this concert.  

Parking Restrictions​ 
There will be no public parking available on the following roads for this event: 

  • Beasley Ave; Saturday 20 Jan, 5:00AM – 1:00AM​ 
  • Maurice Rd, O’Rorke Rd, Station Rd, Fairfax Ave, Rockridge Rd and Olive Rd; Saturday 20 Nov, 2:15PM – 1:00AM​ (Sunday 21 Jan) 

The dedicated mobility entrance gates are Gate B or Gate C. There will also be mobility volunteers onsite to assist with golf carts to help get you to your seat once inside the venue. You can identify our friendly mobility volunteers by their blue hi-vis jackets.

Private Drop Off and Pick Up is available on Felix Street. Taxis are available from Station Road.  

Bag and coat check are located outside Gates B, C and F. Please ensure you check the venue Conditions of Entry for more info on what can and can’t be brought into the venue. Please note that for this event, bags must be no bigger than A4 size.

No, umbrellas are not permitted for a concert at the stadium.  

There are no pass outs for this show. If you exit the venue, you will not be able to re-enter. 

Yes, there are multiple points on site to purchase Foo Fighters at this event. 

Merchandise will be available for a pre-sale day at Go Media Stadium on Friday 19 Jan from 12pm-6pm. You can access the merchandise stall from Gate A, via Maurice Road. Please note that there will be NO onsite parking available on pre-sale day.

On show day, merch will be available to purchase at the stadium at least one hour before gates open (4.15pm). There will be merch stalls near all of the gates. We hope you enjoy the show!

Yes. Unless specifically stated the event will take place rain, hail or shine. Go Media Stadium is predominately an uncovered venue so please be prepared with a poncho or raincoat should wet weather be forecasted. 

Banners/flags (without poles) and posters from cloth, cardboard or paper are permitted. Signs must not be larger than A3 size.

  • Go Media Stadium Mt Smart complies with the Liquor Licensing Authority and prohibits the serving of alcohol to intoxicated or under-aged persons. 
  • There will be zero tolerance for intoxication.   
  • Those who arrive at the gates intoxicated will be refused entry into the event, and patrons who become intoxicated will be escorted from the venue. 
  • Intoxicated or under-aged persons who are apprehended with alcohol will be escorted from the premises. 
  • Persons supplying alcohol to underage patrons will be evicted from the premises. 
  • Go Media Stadium Mt Smart maintains a strict 'no drugs' policy.   
  • Illicit drugs are prohibited and will be confiscated at the gate.  
  • Any persons apprehended with drugs in their possession will be escorted from the premises. 
  • Incidents involving alcohol or drugs will be referred to the NZ Police where the situation required.

For the wellbeing and safety of our patrons, camping inside or directly outside the venue prior to event day is not permitted. There are no facilities or security outside the venue to support overnight camping. No priority entry will be given to anyone camping outside the venue prior to event day.
