Play-Off Tournament North Harbour Stadium
The Play-Off Tournament for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 is an exciting new competition introduced by FIFA.
The Tournament, hosted in Aotearoa New Zealand from 17-23 February, will see 10 nations compete for the final three qualifying spots for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.
North Harbour Stadium in Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau and Waikato Stadium in Hamilton/Kirikiriroa are the venues for the inaugural Tournament, featuring Cameroon, Chile, Chinese Taipei, Haiti, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Portugal, Senegal, and Thailand.
Adding to the excitement of the Play-Off Tournament, New Zealand’s Football Ferns will play three international friendlies around the qualifiers, one of which will be at North Harbour Stadium against Argentina.
The matches to place at North Harbour Stadium are:
Friday 17 February
- Friendly (F2): Argentina vs. Chile (19:30):
- Gates Open: 18:30
- Kick Off: 19:30
Saturday 18 February
- Group B (M2): Senegal vs. Haiti (14:00)
- Gates Open: 13:00
- Kick Off: 14:00
Sunday 19 February
- Group C (M4): Papua New Guinea vs. Panama (19:00)
- Gates Open: 18:00
- Kick Off: 19:00
Wednesday 22 February
- Group B (M6): Chile vs. Haiti (14:00)
- Gates Open: 13:00
- Kick Off: 14:00
Thursday 23 February
- Gates Open: 12:00
- Friendly (F5): Chinese Taipei vs. Papua New Guinea (13:00)
- Friendly (F6): New Zealand vs. Argentina (19:00)
- You are able to leave and re-enter between matches
