Come and join the 3km fun run with over 15 different and challenging obstacles set across the iconic Mt Smart Stadium on Sunday 16th of  May.

Jump, crawl, balance and slide your way through a specially designed course that is perfect for all fitness levels. Anyone can enter, walk or run, it's just as fun!

Entry into the obstacle challenge itself is R18, however, our event village (open from 10.30am-3pm) is perfect for the whole family with giant games, inflatables, hot food and cold drinks.

At Mt Smart Stadium we go out of our way to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable experience. In return, we ask you to respect our facilities and help contribute to an enjoyable event for all our patrons. To achieve this, we require all visitors to the stadium to meet the following conditions of entry. Please note, conditions are subject to change without notice.

SEARCH ON ENTRY

  • All patrons & their possessions may be subject to searches before entering the venue.
  • Please have all bags open and ready for inspection.
  • Any patron who refuses to participate in searches, appears intoxicated, under the influence of drugs or exhibits disorderly behaviour may be denied entry or asked to leave the venue.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • Branded or Commercial Food including Take Aways.
  • Alcohol and Illegal Substances.
  • Air Horns or Loud Hailers.
  • Fireworks, Weapons or Lasers ( Dangerous Goods)
  • Any forms of cans and glass, including glass containers and/or drinking vessels.
  • Animals (Excluding Service Dogs such as Guide Dogs)
  • Recording Devices & Professional Cameras (Detachable Lenses)
  • Couches, Chairs.
  • Skateboards, Scooters, Rollerblades or Bicycles
  • Eskies, Coolers or Chilly Bins
  • Pushchairs in Seating areas.

PERMITTED ITEMS

  • A bag that can fit under your seat.
  • Sealed Plastic Bottle of Water up to 1 Litre.
  • Thermos of Coffee or Tea (maybe subject to scrutiny)
  • Banners, Flags and Posters at the discretion of Stadium Management.
  • Small Quantities of Home Prepared Food.

Patrons must allow authorised staff to search their clothes, bags, containers or other possessions for items in violation of these conditions of entry.

Mt Smart Stadium is a SMOKE-FREE venue. No smoking is permitted at the venue.

Free onsite parking available. Parking can be accessed from O'Rorke Rd or Maurice Rd entrances.

Our event site opens at 10.30am with our first wave taking off at 11.10am. We recommend being onsite 30 mins before your allocated wave. To keep everyone safe we will be sending off all competitors in waves. Select your preferred wave when registering. Please note: waves will be closed off once they reach capacity. So get in quick!

Please ensure that you bring a copy of this Confirmation Email. If you are picking up for a friend please ensure you have a copy of their Entry Confirmation Email also.

We have jam-packed in over 15 obstacles across the 3km course! That’s an obstacle every 200 metres!!

Prepare to jump, crawl, carry and slide your way through the course! Less running more FUN!

Throw on your event T-shirt, running shoes (be prepared to take them off) and be prepared to get a little bit wet!!

We also recommend bringing a change of clothes for when the chill and party time kicks in.

Obstacle Challenge is for all fitness levels! Walk, run, dance around the course.. we don’t mind!

If our event cannot go ahead on the 16th of May because of you know what, we will reschedule to a new event date in the future. Your entry will be automatically transferred to this new date.

We recommend using public transport or carpooling. If you need parking we will have some available off Maurice Road.

Our festival zone opens at 10.30am and closes at 3pm.
