Summer at the stadium

A series of FREE events for the people of Tamaki Makaurau.

Under the COVID-19 Red Traffic light setting we have the following upcoming events with more to be announced once we reach Orange. These events will be operating under the current Covid-19 Protection Framework red setting requirements which you can view here.

Kids Flicks

BYO cushion or picnic blanket and bring the tamariki along to catch a movie under the Pohutakawas at Lilyworld. Mt Smart's newest Cafe, Garden Bar and Event Hub.

  • Saturday 26 March - Kids Flicks - Movie: Red Shoes and The Seven Dwarfs - Grab your tickets here. Due to weather, this event was re-scheduled to this date. All tickets remain valid.

Timings:

8 March: Gates Open: 10am, Movie starts: 10.30am

26 March: Gates Open: 5.30pm, Movie starts: 6.30pm

You're welcome to bring a small picnic for the kids and for the parents & caregivers there will be food available for purchase on the day. Commercially prepared foods are not permitted inside.

Tickets:

Entry is free but pre-registering for tickets is essential.  Door tickets will not be available. 

Drive-in Movies

The supertop car park will be transformed into a drive-in cinema for three different screenings as we celebrate love over the week of Valentines.

Monday 14th February - Drive-In Screening 1 (Valentines) - Movie: India Sweets & Spices - PG13 - grab your tickets here.
Wednesday 16th February - Drive-In Screening 2 (Celebrating Pride) - Movie: Dating Amber with special guest Miss Kita Mean for pre-show entertainment. Please note this movie has a R16 rating and includes adult content. Grab your tickets here.
Sunday 20th February - Drive-In Screening 3 (Bromance) - Movie: Blacklight - PG13 - **ALLOCATION EXHAUSTED**.

Timings:

Gates Open: 6.30pm

Movie starts: 8.30pm

There will be food available for purchase on the day. Commercially prepared foods are not permitted inside.

Tickets:

Entry is free but pre-registering for tickets is essential. Door tickets will not be available.

Entry to any of the above events will require presentation of Covid vaccine pass and face masks will be required.

Entry is via Gate a, Maurice Road - Penrose.

There is plenty of onsite parking available.

Yes! You still must register for a ticket to attend. No door tickets available.

Auckland Stadiums venues and events are operating to the Covid-19 Protection Framework red setting requirements. when attending any of these events, you must show a valid My Vaccine Pass, sign in, and wear a face-mask.

Yes there will be food and beverage retail outlets open for purchase of food and beverages. You are welcome to bring a picnic however please no commercial foods like takeaways or soft drinks. BYO of alcohol is strictly prohibited but will be available for purchase from the venue on the day.

You may bring small quantities of home prepared food. We do not permit commercially prepared foods such as KFC, McDonalds or soft drinks.

No BYO of alcohol is permitted and bags and/or vehicles may be subject to search.

Drive-In Movies - the screening will go ahead unless the weather conditions are severe. 

Kids Flicks - the screening will be postponed to the next day. All timings and tickets remain valid for the next day.
