The term 1 school holidays are almost here and it is time to start brainstorming a few ideas on how to keep the kids entertained!

There are several school holiday activities going on at two of Auckland Stadium’s venues.

Chilled Events are bringing Ice Skating to North Harbour Stadium from 16th of April right through until 16th of May. Come along and chill with us at! Open from 10am – 10pm every day, you will get to enjoy an exciting variety of special events including themed events, special guests, skating lessons and much more. This is a school holiday for everyone – not just the kids! Skaters of any level are welcome – we have awesome ice for the pros and skating aids and helmets for the not so pros. Not only will Chilled Events be at North Harbour Stadium these school holidays but Mahons Amusement will be there too. Mahons Amusements are bringing all the fun of the fair back to the stadium for the term 1 school holidays. With so much on offer there is something for everyone - from the Extreme Turbo Boost, Hurricane, Dodgem Cars, Flying Dragon, Cup & Saucer and so much more. There will also be a great line up of Carnival Games to entertain the masses. The North Shore Mega Fun Carnival will be in North Harbour Stadium’s carpark H from 20th April – 2nd May. Over on the other side of Tāmaki Makaurau at Mt Smart Stadium is Athletics Auckland’s own event Aspire Distance Running Academy happening on Monday 19th – Tuesday 20th of April. One of the stadiums long time tenants is conducting a two-day academy for athletes to learn concepts around endurance training. The academy is offered to club and school athletes aged from 12 to 17 years of age. The second day of the academy will be held on the athletics track at Mt Smart Stadium also known as the home of Athletics Auckland. Click here to find out more.

It does not stop there at Mt Smart Stadium. Proudly co-presented by CLM and Mt Smart Stadium is the school holiday activity Inflatable Extravaganza which will be open the first week of the school holidays, Monday 19th – Friday 23rd of April. There will be a bunch of, you guessed it – inflatable activities for the kids! This includes an 18ft screamer slide, bouncy castle, gladiator challenge, sumo wresting a preschool area and more. This activity is suited for children aged 3-15 years old and requires parent/caregiver supervision. You can purchase tickets online to your preferred day and session, sessions run in two hour blocks from 10am-4pm. Walk-ups are also welcome where you can pay on the day at the gate.
